Grooming / Hydrobath

Our grooming service is performed by Alayne Hansen, who has over 40 years of experience in grooming and showing. Shas won best in show for the Kerry Blue Terriers, American Cocker Spaniels and Poodles multiple times.

Grooming is offered four days per week, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Grooming process: your pet is given an initial clip, then hydrobathed (using Aloveen shampoo — an Australian shampoo made by a veterinary dermatologist) and blow dried. The pet is then given a second clip — at which point most of the fine grooming using scissors is performed, shaping the face, ears, tail and legs. Finally, nails are trimmed and Aloveen conditioner is applied to the coat.
